used to be - every time I called your name

voice right next to me answered so softly

in my dreams – everything is still the same
You’re
sitting next to me and still I keep calling
Heaven came to take you away and now
The angels whisper your name
I can feel you near me every time I

still see – two of us in candlelight
Your
eyes are glistening – smiling with wonder
And
I still feel – how you used to hold me tight
A
gentle rain begins – then comes the thunder
It seems that heaven needed you far
too soon
The angels whisper your name

I cry to the stars - I cry to
the wind
They say my heart will never

Memories
– take me to a better place
